These are photographs that I consider fun – photos that take me back years. They let me savor the feel and emotion of the past.
I’ve arranged the photos into various categories – some by years and some by topics of interest.
Please enjoy.

I usually have a camera with me wherever I go just in case I see someone special. But I avoid interrupting the subject.
For special occasions, an camera with advanced features is usually called for.For concerts I try to be courteous to other attendees so use a small, quality point-and-shoot model with a high range zoom lens and adjustable exposure settings.
Keep this in mind. Don't get so involved with the photography that you forget to enjoy the show!

Typically, a photo that is very bright and has almost no shadows is considered to be high key.
Some of these images were processed in the darkroom using high contrast film (they're from the 1970s) and others were adjusted digitally to make them brighter and to remove the shadows.
I'm happy with the results.
